“Atropos” is as spiritual as any music I can think of, including Arvo Part and Gorecki. The twist of dark neofolk blending with blackened doom metal is exactly what everyone forgot they’ve been waiting for. I want to say that Vouna is “ahead of their time”, but it’s not accurate. Vouna is timeless. Vouna is spiritual music for nihilists like us.
